autism book, resources for parents, let's make faces

Feelings can be so confusing. Just when kids begin to understand their own emotions, they are expected to understand what other people are feeling, too. Let’s Make Faces will help children identify various facial expressions and the feelings behind them.

Let’s Make Faces, written by Gerard Emerson Langeler, is a wonderful activity book for children of all ages. Children will learn to understand emotions and the resulting facial expressions as seen on themselves and on others.

Using a dry-erase marker, the child “makes a face” by copying the illustrated emotion expression onto the blank face.

The book also includes suggested talking points which enables both the child and helper to develop the face.

A wonderful tool for parents or teachers, this book will:

  • Help children identify facial expressions
  • Develop and explain vocabulary related to emotions
  • Facilitate important conversations between adults and children

Great for groups, or one-on-one! NOW with dry-erase marker included!

Let’s Make Faces! is now available at Noggin Factory, 330 Central Ave, Dover, NH  03820.
